dont know the size and speed of hardrive, but it should be more than 40gig at least, 7200 rpm.then you get like a 120, or 200 gig for your audio recording. also i will assume your mother board is compatible with pro tools system, only thing what is front side bus fsb. and the speed of your memory. if its 2100, or 2700, either way, max it out to 1 gig, or as much it can take. also make sure you are using 80 pin cables for data transfer from hard drives. you may to do some bios settings depending on what your config, is. if u do decide to use tht computer, just do a complete re install with all the latest drivers for the board. you dont need to create a partition on your boot drive. only on your secondary drive, where the image is going to stored.
