Bad jjos1 update blank screen

I updated my mpc1000 with jjos1 and now my mpc will turn on but screen stays blank can someone tell me whats going on and tell me how to fix this problem.

Have you tried adjusting the screen contrast?

Yes but the screen stays blank turn it on and nothing. I downloaded jjos1 install it cut it off and then turn it back on blank screen don't load 128chip or nothing just blank. I'm thinking bad os or i didn't do something right. Man i should've stayed at 3.12 and i was just about to buy the password.
