sequencing and mpc2000xl

Unfortunatly nobody seems to have an answer to my sonar with mpc recording and playback problem. In lew of this can anyone suggest some good ideas for home studio setups for combining my mpc 2000xl with my pc. (i've got sonar 1.0, reason, nuendo and a 1x1 usb midi interface)
I love using my mpc but I want to combine it with some kind of visual sequencer for the midi ? because i struggle using just the mpc
What setups do other people run ?

I run my mpc with nuendo. If you search the forum there are alot of threads with how to link the mpc with all sorts of sequencer programs. The easiest way in nuendo is to import your midi file from the MPC floppy drive and import this file in to Nuendo or Sonar and all your midi tracks will show. You may have to highlite the midi track if only one track is showing and disolve this so that the tracks will seperate into different parts. I have personally givin step by step instructions with Nuendo midi hook ups and seen several sonar to mpc post's. Do a search....
