scsi cable

I have a MPC2000xl. I also am using an external CD-Rom and hard drive. I am using a SCSI-2 to SCSI-3 HPD 50pin/HPD 68pin cable to connect them. The cable is 3 feet in length. I know you can get 6 ft cables. Can you get longer ones say up to 10ft? If so will you lose signal with longer cables?

goto a used pc store or a place where they fix pcs. dont go to best buy or circut city they will not have it. U gotta go to the little places with a bunch of used gear.
