Very nice setup high hat, looks like a relaxing place to make music! :shock: 8)

Arkyve, your setup looks nice too after the changes you made. Any ideas yet where you'll place the 3000 once it's finished? :mrgreen:

I'm in the process of making drum-kits for the 60 and didn't feel like sitting on the floor all the time, so i moved everything to the sofa... where i can actually hear what i'm doing (and it's more comfortable too... getting old i guess, hehe).

First person view... :D

I'm running from the amp into the S950 and from there into the MPC. I sample everything with the 950 and resample it into the MPC... no idea if that's a good technique, but it seems to be working for me at the moment. Finally received all the upgrades as well (burnt a big hole into my wallet... damn!), it's running OS 3.10 (really happy with this one) and has an incredible sampling capacity of 26.2 seconds!! 8)

On a side note, i'd like to say thanks for all the great help and information on this forum! Thanks to this place i had the 60 fully upgraded within less than a month! 8)

What's wrong with my "home made" studio furniture? :mrgreen:

nothing, it looks like you moved in yesterday...

i mean, you got a couch, but where's the coffee table to put beers on? where is the vinyl shelf? know what I mean? looks great, and good thing you aren't using the floor anymore.

also, is that a projector screen? if so, then cool!

Ahh, yes i see what you mean! I moved in five years ago... :mrgreen:

It's a three room apartment and the other rooms have more furniture (including shelves for the rest of the vinyl). The room in the pictures is my place where i can "breathe" and have a lot of space (something i appreciate from time to time) and i refuse to put a lot of furniture inside. However, if they are not used as monitor stands, the two white tables actually serve as coffee/beer tables when i have guests over at my place. There's another small table to the left which isn't visible in the picture.

Ran into a problem with the S950 by the way... there's a nasty high frequency "noise" somewhere in the signal, dunno if it's the input or output, but it starts showing badly when using the low pass filter (it's there all the time tho, just harder to notice)... can't use it at all like that and will try to talk to the person who sold it to me. Ohh well, at least the 60 is working perfectly! :?

hey man, look into the inverter sound causing issue... it may be that causing the problem.. but I think as of this week some people discovered a new display for s950 and maybe the s900 that costs like 20 dollars. It is an LED LCD with blue LED back light... look around the forum for that thread if you did not see it.. as that might fix the sound problem maybe?

I wouldn't call it "crib." That look just so classy! Wow, so roomy, I'm jealous... My "home studio" is a size of walk-in closet, and record shelves ate up the small space.

Hey jibber, first off, that setup you've got is dope. Nice amount of space to move around, if it was me though, I'd get some shelves for that wax and stuff like mr_debauch said.

Next up;

I too have this trouble and also le-rat I think off the top of my head. I don't know what's causing the artefact but it usually happens when I use the low-pass filter on extreme settings, like you specified. It's good to know that I'm not the only one. It was talked about in this thread but not really elaborated upon further: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=147988&start=15

Gave my 2nd S950 to a friend who gave me these three in return (he threw in the roland sound module for free, the trade was basically for the ensoniq and alesis units):
