Yes, the custom jobbie is very tight.

Aw man don't even get me started on the Sherman! I use it for anything from gentle EQ to mad filtering, from subtle warming to all-out distortion. Crazy sound design possibilities. I've used a bunch of filters, analogue and digital, but this one is staying. If you're looking for something safe and predictable, it's not for you, but if you want something organic it's the ish. It's hard to get a totally clean sound out of it, but the dirt on this thing is what makes it so good. I could take a clean drum loop and make it sound like it was recorded in 1967...

I've got it on a send, so I can use a little of it on different sources. The return's on a full channel so I can process the filtered signal further.

I've wanted one for a year now, at least a regular SE-1, my Matrix comes pretty close tho.

Look in my right rack for the poor man's SE1X. Granted, it's not the same thing, but the difference in sound is way, WAY smaller than it should be based on the price difference.

word up, i can do club bangers with just one synth line from my matrix, and backup sounds from a cheap ass Proteus 2 - but the SE1 would set the shit of big.

An analog machine is key.

This the only pic I can find on this computer of my set up and it's 3 years old.
You guys were making me jealous so I had to put something on here.
