just quick adobe audition question - mp3 not saving correct.

hi - this may be really obvious but its getting on my nerves!!

im in process of building a website and so am attatchin some lil loops of my ish on there... problem is when i cut a loop out of a beat and then get it all set up nice and then save as mp3 audition seems to add a couple of ms on either end and thus the loop gets all f*cked up..

any 1 know how to disable this function or reduce the time the program seems to be adding on??
