come on man, you got your own software developer working his butt off for you and you have a whinge  I was surprised by this new one as well, I do know where your comming from - Me, i downloaded JJOSXL3.09 last night, woke up today turned on computer to upload to MPC JJOSXL3.09 and noticed it was outdated allready. Thats life on the cutting edge man, its good. And he is making it better, so thats a bonus to. As you know JJOSXL is work in progress. If you feel that it is too much updating you can use the older finished JJOSXL2.27.
Ironically it turns out while i write this post, another update is here. WOOOHOOO
so we go through it again, and I dont mind, in fact i like it, its like christmas for me, and i cant wait to open my present. Better than christmas actually cos its more than once a year...downloading JJOSXL3.1

That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I haven't updated since 2.11, so I just want my next update to be relatively bug free, and the button placements to be fixed.

WTF not since 2.11 LMAO Coz, maybe you should get with the program. Come on man, you are making out like its hard or something. Update that MPC. HOw can you comment on it if you dont use it, and how do you know how bug free and stable it is if you dont use it? Update it and you will be rewarded. I mean you have paid for it, so there is no reason not to besides unfounded ideas.

Who said anything about it being "hard"?? :?

I payed for a stable OS which is what I've been using, but I also follow the update threads on here, and it's apparent that button functions are being changed with every new version. That's of no use to someone like myself who updates infrequently...

Like I said before, when the 'current' OS is considered stable and the feature additions/changes slow down, I will happily jump on it.

JJOSXL IS STABLE. I would know since i use for hours everyday. There are changes to the buttons because there are new features, features you might like. All the buttons are pretty much the same, and its not hard to learn if it is changed. I mean there is being set in your ways ( like i expect you are) and then there is just pigheadedness. New features such as pattern to pad ect are amazing. Your missing out Cos because you believe it is not when in fact it is very stable. In fact i would say more stable than AKAI OS, but that aint hard. Also flimsy excuse far as i am concerned in my opinion, that you dont wanna learn. Just saying that you would be better of doing it, and if it is as bad as you beleive it is reload old one. But you will probably like it, and stick with it, if you get over your ideas that it is some how less stable and too hard to learn. ppffft come on. I know it can be a bit annoying when stuff changes but we adapt, or die out like dinosours. I'm not having a go at ya, just letting you know your ideas about the updates is a little unfounded to me.
So get with the program cos, and let us know what bugs you about it, or what you want improved. With out yours and others input we wont get the best out of JJ
ok? :D

everytime a change happens, it's for the better and most of the time it only takes one look at the vid and 5 seconds to try out and: *BOOM!* instant workflow improvement.
