MIDI SYNC.

I just picked up a 1000. I am trying to work out how to use it as a clock for my Jupiter6 with europa. I am having trouble making the two communicate. :( anybody have advice?

I have read the manual... Just new to midi, so I am trying to figure it out...

I'd like to bump this as I've tried different combinations, leads and options to get my mpc 3000 to talk with my Europa but with no luck...
Midi connectivity is there - as the Europa can trigger mpc sounds no problem, its just getting the mpc to sync clocks with the Europa - i.e. when the mpc starts, the Europa starts.
Even if it were the other way round - with the Europa being the midi master that would be an improvement.
Read both manuals a few times so not at all sure why its not working.
