Hi.
I'm attempting to connect my microkorg to my mpc 2kxl and am having some issues.
Not sure I my approach is correct either.
I'm not connected to any computer, just midi in on the Microkorg to the midi out on the mpc and vice versa. (I have headphones plugged into the MPC) no other speakers are connected anywhere.
I've set the channels both to one, The local function the the korg is off, the clock on the korg is set to external, and the position is set to post.
On the mpc all channels are being received, program change is set to off, sustain pedal is on, midi filter is off, and types is set to NOTES. Pass is set to yes.
The soft thru is set to omni a-b, and I've set the sync in to the corresponding midi input in 1 and the sync out is AB. Both mode and mmc are set to off.
I realize this my be something that figured out with tinkering, however I've been at this for about 2 hours and have made zero progress. I'm educating myself on midi however any tips would be greatly appreciated.
