yo whats up mpc-fam.

this weekend, my main button key along with my down cursor key were being sketch. i opened up the mpc to see if there was anything caught in between the sensor and the button. nothing was there, so i realized i might have to get a new MPC 2500 Right Side Jog Wheel and Vol PCB Board.

have any of you guys had a problem with the 2500 buttons giving out?

another issue was, i put everything back together, but i had two of these little clips that fell out during the whole process.

^ keep in mind that i didn't disassemble the whole mpc, but just enough to take the casing off. what the hell is this thing?

good looks!

Tact switches usually give up on MPCs it's a well known issue. Use the search function and somewhere there's a thread on replacing them. You won't need to replace the full board, but unless you're confident with your soldering it might be best to take your MPC to a techie near you.

No idea what the clip is, you might have to post up a pic so someone can identify it correctly.

They fit on the q-link slider posts under the caps.

the "clips" are spacers for the faders (between the casing and the fader caps).

It's the best tact switch thread I've ever seen on the board... still not attempted mine though.

My "down" has been acting up lately, sometimes I have to push it a few times to get it to work SMH
