really touchy data wheel

so i got my MPC1000 new. have you got the same thing : that is sometimes the data jumps to another value if the wheel is not sitting in between 2 grooves or by putting just a little pressure on the side of the wheel ?

in essence the wheel seems very very sensitive .

Press MODE PAD10 and there should be 2 diff. settings.. See if that helps.

thanks for the reply, but i checked mode + pad 10 and could not find a setting for the data wheel.

You may have to press F1, F2, or F3

Or you just don't got the free JJ OS

yep, i got my MPC1000 in may 2011(bought it new) , and it is still with the akai OS.

You need that JJ bruh. Real shit..
