yeah, I think they have an effects unit .. it's a tabletop DJ live use style unit but I forget the name of it.. it has a big job wheel thing on it I believe (to control the effect you choose)

I might set up a new thread for this actually. I'll probably just browse ebay for the next couple of weeks and see if I can get something on the sly. I'm leaning towards a distortion pedal actually, or a cheeky delay. But debauch if you can find out the name then send me a link and I'll check it out brother.

Also after doing some googling I've just found out that Behringer are launching their own version of the Auratone cubes called the Behritones haha.

How do you like the tweakalizer? I saw one used at the guitarcenter by me and it seems to give some useful effects and control to any input source. Don't know about the quality or possible sound coloring though. It is cheap so I might buy it to replace or use in line with my oldass kaoss pad1.

edit: just saw you were talking about but don't have one, my bad. Anyway if anyone has this and can offer information from personally using it I would appreciate it. Looks like it would add all the CDJ type control and effects to a regular turntable or even tape deck.

Take it to an extreme and I'm sure there will be a gulf in quality. But to write off everything under a certain price as "imitation" or a "piece of sh*t" isn't the one.

+1

I compared many monitors in guitar center when I chose my rp6's and I'm fully satisfied with the way they sound. I'm able to hear the muddiness and clarity that was eluding my ears before. My beats are more clear now when I play them back in my car (I had regular hi fi bookshelf 20 year old passive sony's before).

I really really hated the yellow cone and black cabinet combination so I went with the white. I didn't like the other colors, but I DID want the yellow cabinets but they were limited and I couldn't find them anywhere, oh well.

Crummy speakers to me they aint

If it were me, I'd take the boring black ones...blue is one of my favorite colors, but those look like they'd be in Jiggy Smurfs studio.
