Ak.sys on Mac OSX Lion 10.7

Just upgraded too OSX Lion 10.7 and Ak.sys no longer launches as it's an Power pc application. Does anyone have solution apart from revert back to Tiger?

I posted a topic on this warning people the day Lion came out as I learned the hard way....I think the thread got buried, though. You seem to be in the same boat that I was my man.....the only way to get aksys working again is going to be by going back to snow leopard. However, what you could do, is just use a flash drive to transport your samples to the MPC, and create your programs on the MPC.

I have my harddrive externally mounted in a case, and just hook it up to my computer to make my chops/load the samples onto it, and then hook it into my mpc to load the samples. I actually then save to the harddrive, and make a backup of the complete folder right then. So you're really not at a loss if you are willing to work around aksys. The reason I went back to Snow Leopard was because of Pro Tools 9 at the time.

I believe if you use VMWare Fusion, you can run a virtual instance of OS 10.6 which has power PC support and Rosetta so you could still run Ak.Sys.

Unfortunately you can only run Snow Leopard Server with Fusion.
