Hi All,
i am new to this forum although i have been a lurker for a few weeks.
I wanted to say hello and, since i got a lot of really useful info from this forum in the past weeks, also share a quick tip with you guys.
Today, i upgraded the pad sensitivity on my new black 1k for free!
The trick is to simply put little pieces of standard packing material beneath each pad.
Just a little rectangle of this stuff:

I found mine in the box of my electric razor
Cut little rectangles that fit into the holes on the downside of the pads.
No need for glue or anything, the foamy material is a bit sticky by itself.

The material is less than a millimeter thick and that seems to be enough to fill the gap between sensor and pad.
The whole upgrading process takes less than 10 minutes.
Works like a charm for me...
Thanks for listening!
