Jaz drive is as unreliable as Zip drive, and it is even worse because a Jaz disk can hold more data than a Zip disk, so you might loose all the data at once!

I don't believe there is any data tape drive that works with MPC-2000 classic. Even if there is, you would not want to mess with it, because it would be very slow to load & save.

You should get a SCSI 2.5" MO drive (best option for MPC-2000 classic, I think, since 2000 classic doesn't have directory/folder support, and MO drive is very dependable.) Plus, MO disks are cheaper than Zip disks on eBay.
I often see SCSI 2.5" MO drive on eBay for less than $100. Don't get SCSI 3.5" MO drives, because they do not work with MPC-2000s.
