MPC PROS HELP ME WITH MY ISSUE!

HEY FORUM,

I'm a brand new MPC owner. Just got the MPC1K and JJ OS (as I hear it's friendlier than Akai OS). My problem is this...

I Have a Korg microSTATION, a synthesizer with great sounds that I've never utilized before. I want to use the MPC strictly for sick drum patterns and sequencing. The microSTATION is what I want to use for leads and basses.

Is it possible for me to get my synth and mpc to work together without a mixer or interface and without sampling (i want midi/audio synced)??

I thought it would be as simple as connecting the two together and watch the music come together.

midi both machines together.

main audio out from each machine goes to a mixer or audio interface.

mixer or audio interface main outs go to your active monitor speakers.

no worries.

i found a solution. the MPC 1k has an internal mixer. (just in case someone else is having the same problem).

Hit mode and mixer then hit the corresponding function button for INPUT then turn the audio from OFF to ON.

Do you have a manual?
Did you find that in the manual?

MPC Resources right above this thread in the main menu, it's a drop down menu.
