Wondering what the users here think about buying a used MPC from MPCstuff.com...

Long of the short is I've been talking to a few people between my local Craig's List and another 'net forum but the deal keeps coming up a bust (one is in another country and the local cats are asking too much). Looking other places, I found an MPC that actually caught my eye and it's up on MPCstuff. Any bad experiences when buying a used MPC from them?

Didn't know exactly where to put this thread at so... here goes!

Beat me to it... ^^^

Never bought an mpc from them but never had a problem with my other purchases. Browsing the used section when I'm bored though, showed me their prices are a bit on the high side... but hey! If they have what you want and it's at a price you're cool with then I'd say go for it. It'd be a lot less iffy than buying off ebay or craigslist (just ask Explicit)

i was gonna get one off there last year but didnt, seemed cool enough. although the price was a little high for most stuff, some of it is reasonable, you can get them to do some custom stuff to it as well if they dont have exactly what you want.

I've noticed the price "issue" there, for sure. I don't feel like certain MPCs are priced high but I've definitely felt that some of their MPCs are a bit over-shot. Anyway, the only reason why I ask is because the local sellers either backed out or they sold it too quick for me to make a deal and the only other person I know selling anything lives in Australia... AHHH!

So, it seems like MPCstuff has an MPC that's definitely "my style" for a price that's really pretty decent for a used MPC... will probably have to swoop on it.

Like I said, if they have what you want for a price you're cool with then jump on it...

That said, they still have the 3000 with the bad backlight and a ton of missing buttons for $680? I would not recommend jumping on that'n...

which one are you getting if you dont mind me asking?

i really wanted the blue 1k from there, but ended up getting a 2500 instead, i might just get it next year if its still there.

i think they have more than 1 in stock of at least some of them because i remember that i wanted it one time and it was sold out i think, then they got it again.
