does this happen on every sequence?

do your durations overlap? pretty sure this isn't a bug, just unfamiliarity with the system.

recreate your sequence and see if the same issue happens.

This may be the issue, I believe it happens after I change something up in step edit.

Can you elaborate about the "Durations" though? I mean how would one note duration in ONE track affect the whole sequence to fade out like that?

I could recreate the sequence but I'm extremely perfectionist and it literally takes me hours to build some sequences with the note timing the way I want them.

my first thought is that your note is overlapping itself and that the note off from the first note is turning off the second.

go into grid or step edit and look at just what you're dealing with. pay attention to the durations.

you could always post up your project file too and someone could be a good guy greg and check it out

durations: how long a note lasts.
don't worry if you feel like it takes you a long time to get things right now - you'll get way faster as you get better at your mpc. you'll be flying in no time.

sure. glad to help.

i would recommend keeping instrumentation/drums on separate tracks once you're a little more comfortable with navigation - it helps for organization/muting purposes and will likely help you build a better workflow.

important things to pay attention to:

program mono/poly setting (whether the pads will all cut each other off)
pad mono/poly setting (whether the pad will cut ITSELF off)
polyphony monitor (if the free jjos has that - this will help you be aware of what's using up all your voices).

keep working at it and if you get stuck try to approach it from a different angle.
