Hey guys I've recently adjusted my workflow by utilizing Sequencing and Track muting heavily. I used to program all of my sequences in order, and record my track out under song mode through main out(I don't use any software).
Due to the lack of quality/EQing with this method I've made the decision to just layer up my songs within a few sequences, if needed, and just mute out my layers for hook/verse and find the flow of the song by playing around.
I generally have many tracks with chords/strings or what have you that I would like to fade in and out of the mix cleanly when I unmute and re-mute them, but obviously if I apply attack/decay to the individual samples then obviously I'm not getting where I want.
I can program pads differently for attack/decay only samples and insert them where needed, but that interrupts the workflow as I would have to remember that the "attack sample" plays at "1.01" and ends at "... X.01" and play accordingly.
Is there any way to achieve phasing in/out for an entire track to allow my tracks to melt together more cohesively? Thanks.
