Is there anyway to copy multiple events of a pad and then paste them to another pad within grid edit (i.e. without going to another screen)

So for instance if I wanted to double my bassdrum pattern (A01) with a low tom (on A03), Right now when I copy and paste, even if I scroll down with the horizontal marker to the other pad (A03) and paste it still pastes in A01. Err... hope that made sense.

Thanks (this forum has been extremely helpful as I learn JJOS, hopefully I can be of some help to others once I learn more).

Cheers.

Transpose is the easiest way to do this. BUT that is another screen. Not really too much drama, specialy if you just hit pads instead of scrolling for the pads you want to transpose in the transpose edit window. So yeah its like 4 button hits in totall and its quickly done. other wise you could make a pattern and in loop edit mode enable said pattern to any pad

Thanks for the reply blip rock! You right, not too much drama to do it that way. I just keep wishing for simple daw style piano roll editing on the mpc. Working on unlearning the habits I got from the computer. No biggie. Thanks again.

GPE's simult is a great alternative. Thanks Nym.

Its funny, one of the hardest times I'm having other than unlearning daw habits (which I'm happy to ditch) is connecting what the manual says with things I'm trying to do. I thought SIMULT was only a multitrigger (ala machinedrum). Was confused about the modes. Thanks.
