Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

it happens sporadically not all the time. the screen will just freeze in sample screen especially when i have been a couple hours of chopping. im thinking it cause i dont have a mixer.. i just plug my mpc straight to the computer on the left in and to my amplifier on the left out.. so its coming through analog not stereo. but should that still make it freeze?

no, that is definitely not the reason.

more than likely it's bad ram.

get new ram or at least clean the sticks you got.

try to download and reinstall the OS files
click on the 2nd button [MPC OS & MANUALS] high on the left in this page to get download link
