Dude, thats the most basic proceedure on the MPC, you're definitely not reading the manual, therefore you suck mighty rhino balls beyond proportions. Seriously, hold MODE and hit RECORD and then hit DO-IT. Now stop PMing me because I see Lamp gave the same answers I did also. Besides I own a MPC500, betta ask somebody.
