Me, I am 80% the same way. The other 20% of me understands that sometimes I can't skimp because what I actually want and need will cost more than a few bucks.

hah, I pull it out whenever I need it. Normally use it for a bass or synth sound, need to mess with it more and make it a real piece of my kit.

Painting a speaker cone wouldn't be good.

I really hate the yellow cones that krk is stuck on as well.
The red w/ white cones were my faves but I waited too long, they were a limited run.

I JUST now ran across this website that has them.. I wish I would have saw this a few months ago. This site also offers reconing services, maybe you can get white cones put in...

Finally got everything i need and put together a setup i'm happy with!

I decided to make music with the hi-fi speakers and connect the monitors only if needed, so far these speakers have worked out pretty well.

Still need a few more cables tho... got 7 of the 8 outs from the 60 connected to the mixer and am currently using only one effects unit (on a small table left to the mixer). I also want to hook up the S950 and another effects unit, but i ran out of cables. :D
