New MPC

Heya.

My mpc1000 broke down, and I need to get a new MPC.
Now is my question, which MPC should I get.
Are the options in the 5000 that much better then in the 2500?
The intern synth, is that any good? or shall i go for a 2500 and maybe a microkorg?
So, the question is: Should i get the 2500 or the 5000.

why you can't fix your 1000?
what problem do you have with it?

Water (or rather beer, never ever take your mpc to à gig.)... Already tried to fix it, but no succes.

i wouldnt fux with 5000 for simple reason JJ dont support it...personally for me that's deal breaker

Plus the synth inside the 5000 isn't really a dealbreaker. I'd rather spend the extra cash on a dedicated synth.

Is jjos that big of à plus? I used it for my 1000, and never used the akai os.
