HELP! , mpc 2500 se, or mv 8800?

So i have money right now and I'm planning on buying either an mic 2500 special edition from a local musci store near my house for $1000 flat with an upgraded hard rive and ram, or i can either buy a brand new mv 8800 on ebay for $450. with one do you guys think i should get? i will be using it to sample and whatnot but I'm not sure with one to get i tried googling but too many mixed opinions some people are saying get the mv the mpc just has a 90s premier sound and other say go with the mod due to how quick and easy it is just tog et your ideas out. the reason I'm getting one is because I'm not really into software i prefer hardware, let me know thanks

mv 8800 for 450... you cant really compete with that.

Also as lamp said, get an audio interface.. try and get one with the spdif input for the mv's spdif output.

also, let me suggest getting a small midi controller with midi out so you can rig it to the mv.. it's useful for playing those keyboard instrument patches.

Alright thanks and yea i already have a keyboard i have a roland keyboard as well so i guess the mv 8800 will go good with it because ill be able to sample easier

and does the mv have the thing so i can loop the sample like on the roland sp 555?

well guys someone outbidded me for the mv 8800 for 900, so now its basically 1000 for mic 2500 special edition with hard rive and sounds or mv 8800

It still 100 dollar cheaper but honestly it sounds to me like you want that MPC2500, I suggest you go with that!
