CABLES NEEDED TO SAMPLE FROM CD PLAYER, MP3 ETC.

Hi there ive been on this forum for a while now but ive never posted anything, so i guess im still a new booty here, i have tried and used the search function but didint find what i need, i was looking to see if someone can help me in describing the type of cables i need for sampling from my cd player or mp3 player, cellphone etc. I normaly sample from vinyl but i got a couple records i wanna sample that i dont own on vinyl, so i seen this at MPC-STUFF.com
http://www.mpcstuff.com/akmpcipcosai.html but $25.00 is too much for a couple of cables i can buy local but i need to be able to describe what cables are needed, i dont know too much about them. thank you for your time and help.

oh yeah also are they two cables like in the mpc stuff website where the 1/8 adapts to the 1/4 inch cables or is it already one long cable with two ends. thanks again

Well sorry I took so long but I was at work, sorry to say no luck at my local radio shack very upset they didint have this and when I asked for help guy didint even understand I even showed him pics. He suggested a 3.5mm to 1/4 plug adapter lol. So I looked everywhere but nuthin did see a cute girl and bought some much needed MIDI cables tho so not a loss of a trip, but I wanna sample! The hunt continues.

Hahahaha lol man well I am not so sure about some cables so didn't wanna take a chance but I did think of this there was a dual 1/4 inch mono adapter with 1/4 female out so I was thinking of plugging in a 1/4 inch plug adapter with 3.5 mm out and the 3.5mm auxiliary cable. What u think?

The idiots at radioshack are useless. I also tried to find that same cable there. I just ended up ordering it from amazon for $7 (mpcstuff has it for $25...SMH)

haha @Lampdog Thanks Homie, and yea @BlitZ i was also gonna order that after i saw mpc-stuff's price and if i wudve ordered that same day i proly wud of had it already and now im just ordering it today. hahahaha man didint wanna wait shipping time and look at me now, patience really is a virtue. thanks guys yall been a great help appreciate it a lot.
