Im just a beginner in terms of using my MPC to its fullest potential, Im creatively able with the MPC 4000 but not techically able to apply the machines features, well one feature Ive been trying to figure out and it finally hit me...The 4k's Swing is really on point...Ive owned the MPC 2500, 3000, and 5000...The groove of the 4K is really on point and I think it picks up where the legendary 3000 left off..It might be a little sharper as far as swing in terms of clarity because the 3000 is more rounded while as the 4000 is sharp and precise. The Swing on the 4000 I think to me in my honest opinion is better then the MPC in question, the 3K...The 4000's ability to be used as a Dirty South Drummer, 90's Hip Hop Beat Box ala Arkyve, and Im still able to sequence with no problems when I make my "SWaNKy" beats...I truly enjoy the 4000 and I dont see myself ever getting tired of it. I made use of the Swing function today and my shit came out Groovy Old School New Era Boom Bap with a nice sample that I layed over the drums...That joint came out Peachy.

Definitely figuring this beast out...The 4000 is definitely the most superior of all the MPC's, I just need to copp me a 60 and I would have owned them all...The 4000 can **** with the 3000 in all aspects...Honestly if you ask me.

If I have too many slices say in a Recycle or Rex2 file...Do I convert to a Keygroup and load the samples into the KeygrouP?

I think labcoats posted something about the timings being different but I don't remember or recall a swing test or verified thread, it's just people talking about it. "labcoats' posted scientific breakthrough evidence of the lochness monster actually existing, lmao.

Well I say the 4000 can swang with that ghat damm 3000...But its swing is too precise, it dont have the sway like the 3000 but that ride backwards when the chains tighten...very similiar...almost better...
