Hey,
Just traded my sp 555 for an akai MPC 1000 straight up.
Anyway my problem is this, and I'm sure it's something pretty simple, but I've been googling and searching the forums for about an hour now... So help me out before I go running back to my SP.
I'm running the free JJ OS. I've recorded some 808 drum hits from my computer headphone out to the MPC. I go to trim mode to chop up the drum hits. At this point I can press the pads and hear the sample fine, but all I see where the waveform should be is a straight line. I can see the waveform with the preloaded samples just fine, but with my own recorded samples, nothing. The levels seemed to be fine when recording, everything is clearly audible, samples are loaded into memory as well as saved on my CF card.
So what am I doing wrong?
