I've owned the 60II - was intrigued by the 'so called' swing factor...
I couldn't convert the 60 over to sd card interface because it didn't have scsi port on it - so i sold it. (after the 4000 **** around with floppies was just too damm boring for words.)
My bro Hugo from Goldbaby samples schooled me about overdriving the 60's input stage - which does infact give a certain pleasing distortion. This is true - however you can do the same thing with an s950 (as it's the same chips/electronics inside).
These days I turn the timing correct of and I can get whatever swing I want....
Also I like the sound of hats at 75% swing- and using the qlink to get some more variation in the sound.
