track mutes please help.

I record all my track mute but as soon as I go to the main screen, it doesn't playa the mutes anymore... how do I keep the mute variations running in the background....

After you have recorded your track mutes, then go to the main screen and highlight "mute", now push the orange window button, now it will say " use track mute events", select yes ( if you press "do it", it will erase all muted information) and then go back to the main screen.

I new you could do that, but does that erase the whole track.... does it leave the notes in that track that you left....

I was thinking more along the lines of, when you freak things in and out and have some groove variations with the mutes, you see them switching on and off..... couldn't you have that running in the background being in the main screen or in the next sequence screen... you can have that live mute feel on the track as part of the sequence... I don't want to erase any of the mute data,,,,....
