koax cables; If it says video; does that mean it ain't suita

Cos I need a single koax cable. Would there be any (impedance) problems going on if I used it with my MPCs Digital In ?

those will work fine, they have better shielding than regular rca style cables..

this is what I used for the mv's digital input.. I have a 25 foot cable I think and it works great!

Yeah, see, my main reason for concern was that it also says somthing about 750 Ohms. I couldn't find anything about this in the MPCs manual.
I don't want to **** up my digital in, cos my analog in is allready ****, and I'd be there with a sampler and no Inputs.. ... how gay would that be??

I've been working around that by loading sh** from the internal CD player, But that's a major hold up to my workflow.. And since I work quite much ; I ain't got time for no F***in' hold ups during my scarce time on the MPC

Since i've got the Fostex FD-4 (a lovley digital 4 track recorder, with digital out's) Imma just use that inbetween my Phono Amp and the MP.
Quality won't suffer coz that babys sound is the BOMB, plus it's equipt with an analog mixer with EQ and all.
'nother advantage is that I can do all sorts of crazy shit on that machine and then sample digital into the MPC

just so you dont wait unnecessarily, a regular old rca might work in a pinch, provided it is very short and probably you keep the two devices close together.

Ya, see, the next issue was that the FD-4s Digital outs are optical, so; I needed to get an adapter/converter thingy, wich I found for a quite reasonable price of 10€, in the same e-bay store. . (The above stated "thingy" has optical IN and Koax OUT).
So I decided to get myself a single RCA cable ( wich was also reasonably priced at 3€ sumthin??) and also a toslink cable to go with it, whil I'm at it.
I'm gonna have to wait anyways..

It'll be worth it though.. Thanks to you guys I'm really confident about this one now

My interface is a "sinn7 rox5 USB". No digital I/O ('sept for USB.. if that counts.. doesn't help anyways)
Yeah, I'm gonna get a decent Interface on the long run, but for now, this gonna have to do the job.

I want an Interface with Digital I/Os both koax and Optical. also ADAT would be nice.. Obviousley the Analog I/Os shouldn't be missing.. A few mic Ins and also Phantom power would be nice too.. Oh and analog V/U meters would be a treat!!

But that's way out of my budget right now..

At least that's a couple o' reasons to keep my day job
