how can i tell if my mpc has faulty pads

i don't know if this has to do with the pads but also when recording in a sample it's much louder then when i play it on the pads, e\/en when i use full \/eloscity

sounds like you need to adjust your pad sensitivity

grab one of the corner pads and move it with your hand. do you see the other pads moving? if so, you have the new style pads. if you don't, you have the old style pads. if you have the old style pads you'll probably want to upgrade them at some point.

ok, i'\/e had this problem latley where i hit the pads and it would play the sample when i hit and when i released. i put this in another thread but gi\/en with what i notised today i figured i'd put it in here. usually i type with the data wheel, but today i was fukin around and tried with the pads and when i hit pad one onse it'll type b instead. is that something typikal in the old ones?

i should say that on the other thread someone said hit pad 11, f6 whole and then selekt one shot. so far it works randomly
