Hello

I'm french, i'm sorry if you don't understand me.

I work with a MPC 2500 JJOS XL and Reaper for effect but i need to buy a laptop or macbook to continue to make beat because i move to study.

I've already tried Reason, Fl Studio, Cubase and Reaper to sequence. And Recycle to slice my sample.

I don't like Fl Studio and Cubase.

Reason is cool but, i don't like the sequencer and not vst integration.

I like Reaper but i don't know with which software sampler player use it.

I'll maybe need to try Ableton Live too?

I want an easy sampler/sequencer, like mpc. To play mainly sample, but now i want to try to compose with vsti too. I need function like full level, keygroup, more than 16 slices sample player..etc..

What is the best solution for my use?

Thanks a lot.

I've dont precise.. I've try Geist and Maschine too.

Geist is cool, but only 16 slices per engine no? And i prefer sequence on a "real" Daw to use vst/vsti too.

Dam how many slices do you need Sun!! LOL

Just kidding, I'll slice up a sample into a million pieces & and only use like 5 or 6 pieces, but that's me. Can't you link the different engines in song mode? Honesty i'm gonna check it out anyway.{gonna use my discount} I didn't understand what you meant by"a real daw". Enlighten me

Can you tell me good sampler who accept rex files and more of 16 slices?

I try Ableton and Drum Rack, very good, i'll may be learn this soft!

When i say "real daw", i want to say a daw where you can add vst/vsti, can mix all your tracks.. Etc.

Geist is cool, ok, but i think he need to be incorporate in a soft like cubase or reaper.
