Use Q Link to control vst?

Hi,

I use my mpc with Reaper 4, all output tracked at the same time with an 12 inputs audio interface.

I like to record my beat to play with track mute and i want to control vst effect at the same time. It's possible with the q link? Or i need a midi controller like the BCR/BCF 2k ?

You can set any of the q-links to send a common midi cc and then you can use it anywhere you need.

Ok nice but how can i do ? Midi out of mpc to midi in of my interface or midi in of mpc to midi out of interface? And in reaper? Thanks.
