Replacement Pads?

I know Forat is out last I checked, my bottom pads are prety worn, soon I will flip them internally, but I want a new set so I can wear them out again in comfort

Anybody have any ideas?

Don't know if there's a difference between the 2kxl and 3k pads but that place probably got 'em either way.

Yeah, I have used them before and thought of calling them right after posting. Nothing 2000 will ever go on my 60!! Nothing!!!

but hopefully they got what I need, thanks for confirming my suspicions.

The MPC3000, MPC2000 and MPC2000XL use the same pad assembly so I suspect the 60 does also. You may not have choice but to put a MPC2000 part in it.

The MPC2000 owners didn't complain when they put MPC60 and MPC3000 parts in the MPC2000. hehe.

vst... they even have different colors to add a little character to your mpc..

Just ordered it from vst today. Same color, I like the 60 as is.

All the pads are the same according to them so I guess it counts as a 60 part.

any 2000 owner would be lucky to have more 60 parts on the 2000!! The thicker metal. the armrest, the flip up, big ass screen!!!

Is this supposed to make the music sound better? Reminds me of the "wooden-side-panels-on-analog-synths threads years ago". ;)

No it's not meant to make the music sound better, it makes the experience of using the machine a bit nicer.

I have some analog synths with wood side panels, I can't say I'd miss them if they were woodless, but still, I'm big on the man machine interface, I don't really care if the end listener can tell the difference or not, but the process of making music is why I prefer knobby synths and great UI's.

I know you got a waldorf something in that midicase so I know you feel me.

what colors do they offer the pads in?

Black and gray.

I was at that VST shop last week, picked up a few goodies anyways they have all kinds of stuff in there and the receptionist girl is a cutie!

I got them last night and replaced the pads today. Not a big difference but an improvement, well worth the $25.
