**** renaming them all unless its only a small amount.
put them into respective folders, rename them as you go along on a need by need basis. like a 'kick' folder. drop everything into the folder as you discover it. name doesnt really matter, i guess maybe it could....but i find it easier to browse to the kick folder to find a kick, then to sift through a list of names a-z.
I also keep a folder of my special kits. as i find a great combo of drums (kick,snare,hihat,shaker) I create a new personal kit. usually the requirement for the kit is that it bangs, and could be used for another beat and if djpremier was like "dude, can i get some of your drums" i have an organized folder of ill kits.
