Just wondering if there is any mpc geniuses who can help me out with a big problem. I've owned & operated an mpc 2500 for about a year now with jj os 3.10 and hard drive already installed. Been running all smooth until recently when I tried to save a beat I was making when it keeps saying file name already exists, then when I change the name same thing happens, It won't even let me replace it, I've even gone through to make sure everything is saved under a unique name. This happens when I try to save everything at once or programs, samples etc individually. The exact same thing occurs when i try to save to compact flash card as well. All in all I cannot save anything. Reading through the forums a few people have had same problem with no real solution for me. I'm not sure if the hard disk was formatted i'm pretty sure flash card wasn't. When following the steps to format the hard disk though I ran into a new problem, there is no utility page on my mpc with a format option there is only save/load/usb to choose from. If anyone can offer me some help I would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sorry for the long post too.
