Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

With a floppy, zip or even a cd depending on what kind of drive you're using with your MPC.

well i have a internal zip drive on my mpc ...can that read floppys?

:shock: I'm gonna pretend you didn't just ask that question.

Get a USB or parallel zip drive to hook up to your pc, save the programs you create with the MPC Editor on a zip disk, take the zip out of the USB or parallel zip drive, insert it(with the metal side forward) into the MPC and load the program up.

LOL.....Lets not be silly...Look at the size difference

You need a zip drive in or connected to your pc so you can export the program and the samples to it

well anyways will the same zip drive work for both my pc and mpc?

where is the best place to buy a external zip drive? ebay? vstservice?

The mpc uses scsi and the computer uses parallel.You can find a a cheap one on ebay probably for cheap.

i feel bad for that mpc. go on ebay and get a zip drive for the pc. PARALLEL is fine. U dont need scsi if u have an internal drive.
