Whatsup everyone,
I have a couple questions and just want some opinions basically..
Well the way I chop my samples and sequence them is I find something I like then trim the start/end points so that when I put it in loop mode its a seamless loop, then I go in and chop it into equal length so I can replay everything. I then set all the samples to the same mute group so they cut eachother off but I ALSO set each individual samples Poly setting to 1 so that when I press the same pad twice it cuts itself off as well.
I've gotten decent results with this, but a lot of the time the samples seem very robotic, not a lot of soul and my options are pretty limited. I've tried setting the samples to only the mute group, but even this doesn't really yield the best results.
What is your guys way of chopping so that it keeps a good flow sonically?
