Some news about the video you'd must post? I would like to see how to solder LEDs.

Thanks.

Hey I definetley will post a video once I order the LEDs and get them in - just havnt had the time to do so yet...trust me I will post a new thread when I do. There are no videos on soldering the LEDs so this could help a lot.

Called a few local screen print shops because I want to get a template made for a piece of gear that I plan on painting. Not the MPC2500 but something similar. asr x pro to be exact. All the shops I talked to seem almost exasperated when I explain what I am trying to get done. One shop quoted me at $170.00 which isn't bad I guess. Is there a better alternative to screen printing? Or is there an in between step that could cut out some of the labor that the shop would have to do like making the template file yourself on photoshop or something? I'm trying to think how you would make sure that the template actually lines up on the actual gear itself. For those that know, what gives?

i thnk that 2500 looks pretty cool, although i would have made it all chrome and not left the left side shiny black. i dont even see the guys logo on it.

THIS is gorgeous right here. I would re-think all black buttons with rec being red and window being the same orange. Black chrome qlink faders and knobs. Same black chrome knobs for volume, gain and data wheel. I always see the custom 4k with the same blue window frame, is it not easy to open, I don't know, I'd want it black as well. The wood sides with black antique burns on it would be super nice as well. I'm wanting too much I know.

No you are not Lampdog !, this can be done ...
I must admit it's not the easiest thing to modify and here is Rheezo's 4k with a simple black instead of the blue frame you are talking about.
But I started to imagine things like your logo on it or to include the screen window in the design of the entire machine ....You have to know that is possible.

PS : this should be in the 4k thread ....

^^^ that looks dope but i would make those record and overdub buttons black though. and also that random white button in the middle, paint that shit black too! i think that would really set it off.
also what are those circles on the 4 corners of the pads border?
