you can find records at many places that aren't record stores - thrift stores, garage sales, pawn shops - that's where you need to be looking.
did i mention dumpsters?
do you have any friends who clean out apartments for rental companies? lots of people will leave entire collections when they move cause they dont want to move them. ask around, meet people, work at it. you'll get what you need
Yeah yeah, old dude stays down. I go out there whenever my wife isnt taking my money. I look at thrifts but they've gotten hip to the value and start charging $3-$5. I try garage sales but they're usually selling clothing! I've heard people talk about the dumpster route, but I've never gotten that lucky. I need to befriend a cleaner. My mother in law works with charities that collects junk. She said she just gave away hundreds before I met her. I was like ****. Now, she's keeping an eye out for me so hopefully I'll come up soon.
