turn on mpc
press button mode + pad10
press F2 (misc)
set TAP TEMPO = pad 16 (for example)
now go to mode + PAD2 (load)
repeatedly press pad 16
press button main
my observation is this: ( can you do it? )
Tap tempo can be adjusted from mode + PAD2 (load)

emerges from a concise programming?

[This functionality is not described in the instructions of jj]

or

as if by magic!

but ....
is a comfort to say to myself,
"could be a first step"

From what I saw it is a not heavy bug or "not desired operation" if u prefer. Why would I want to change tempo in load screen, while audition of a sample? OK, u assigned a pad to some operation, and then u switch to mode where, actually a pad got a function on it's own rights. I'm surprised it did not crashed.
