Hi

I have **** up my mpc hard drive cause i can't view the things i have on it. Stil have programs and samples on it but it isn't viewable. How do i format my mpc hard drive?

thats a pretty crazy lot of questions there. Welcome to the forums. First I have to say RTFM.
Why on earth are you changing the samples to .MPG format? WHY? The MPC uses .wav format. So you do not change format, just make sure they are 16bit 44.1kHz.
Please note that samples are assigned to programs. You wont see samples in a sequence or track. You will see the pad or midi note in tracks and sequences. Programs is where to look and have samples assigned to pads. RTFM again.
After you load .wav sample then make program and assign sample to a pad in the program. hey presto when you hit the pad the sample you assigned in the program it plays the sample.
