mute track access while recording output?

i record from the output and export the wav. file from the mpc to my pc. it would be a good thing to be able to get to the mute track page and toggle back and forth.

And why can't you just do it then??

it was ment to go into feature request topic. When recording into the pc you cannot toggle off of the record window.

I'm not sure if I understand what u'r trying to do..
If you record from ur MPC to ... no matter what, you are very well able to use the track mute function.. I do this all the time
How are you tracking out?? Stereo output? Works perfect..
Never tried to record from the Digital Out tho..

Sounds like he's recording "main out" in record mode and then usb-transfering the resulting .wav to daw...

Instead he should record directly to daw from stereo out. So normal playback and set daw to record audio.

Otherwise you have an option to record track mutes.

Right... recording the "main out" within the mpc and getting the mute track while its recording. I'm not tracking with in the daw now till i get my soundcard back up. So i was looking for the best way to get just a simple rough copy.

Yeah, then best is to record track mutes beforehand just like le rat suggested.
