Love the Bass tip (using a filter to isolate the bass, then distorting it to make it grimy...)

It's probably the oldest trick in the book, but I'm used to picking up my bass guitar and playing along for my bass. This sucks, because old samples are usually a couple cents off true pitch, so I sound either out of tune, or I spend a ton of time trying to run my MPC thru a rack tuner to discern the pitch. You have solved my problem!

Keep the quality coming, Freedom!

that is the oldest trick in the book. Check out Pete Rock, Marley Marl

It's called the low end theory.

Whats written at 14 mins is

when you creat a chromatic program with the mpc...

The notes C, F, G will always work together....

No matter if the sampe is not in the key of c....

The way it tunes the samples it allows for c g f to played as alternate notes in the scale thuse changing the feel of the sample
