Hi , I did a brief search here and didn't really find my question. I was wondering if anyone had some input on whether to go for the 2000xl or the 1000? I make all my beats on the cpu, with reason, soundforge, recycle, cubase... and I got decks

I'm after a piece of hardware to transfer my stuff to, cause I get kind of tired of staring at the screen and clicking on my mouse. I love the computer for getting my initial ideas down / sample editing, but when it comes to sequencing out the song it's more tiresome than creative. I'm not totally new to hardware/software, (been making beats since '97)I just figured this was more of a newbie forum question for all the mpc users.

I know the price difference and all, but it's not really an issue. I can't afford either, but I was going to max out my visa to get one and pay that off. So I don't want to buy the 1000 and end up wanting the 2000 (or vice versa). Just asking for someones input, thanks.

ok, sorry I just saw that the admin says this has been discussed to much already. I'm having a hard time finding it in the archives though? Anyways, if someone wants to reply it would be appreciated.

lol. you must be using the search function wrong. type in "2000 AND 2000xl AND 1000" without the quote marks and you should come up with heaps of info.
