Maaaaaan I was excited to see what they had uo their sleeve and am pretty curious about this! Price yet?

yes, if it is around the 400 euro mark it will likely be around the 700-900 USD mark... and I believe it would also ship plenty but they need to hype it and market it. That video while cool, wasn't that hype for the background music.

I think Moog products speak for themselves generally. Everybody knows the sheer quality associated with that name. The video wasn't bad, certainly didn't show off the sonic possibilities, but then again I think most people know the Moog sound and how weighty this thing will be.

Yes, it is so dope. I love the design, USB connectivity, true dedication to analog circuit... This is type of the product that you want to use it until you die. Robert Moog (R.I.P) must be smiling in his analog heaven. I think Moog Music is in good hands now, after his passing.

Rhodes Piano (another great musical instrument developed in US), in the other hand, is not so lucky...

It's $679, so by the time we get skanked in the UK it'll probably be around £550. That's a bit too pricey for what it is IMO.

....Im trading my slim phatty in for it as I only use the slim for basslines and I dont have a proper midi controller (with pitch and mod wheels that is. I use my 2KXL to sequence..)

Im loving that each parameter has a knob.The only downside I see is no arpeggiator, but thats easy to work around.

Ill midi controlled analog bass module for less than $600? A must buy for MPC heads!



Side Note: **** the MPC renaissance, lol. At least one MI manufacturer has their game face on.

£500 takes it into much more fully featured analogue synth territory, and as you said in the Tempest thread, you're paying a premium for the name.

The price isnt too bad, The CAD is .63 GBP right now, lol. After shipping, you'd probably pay less than 400 pounds.

Unfortunately we have to pay import tax on everything that comes into the UK from outside the European Union. The other bonus of buying here is getting a standard 3 year warrantee on music gear. Not everywhere offers this, but it's becoming more common judging by my recent purchases.
