Hi,
I've had numerous strange problems with my 500 lately, this is the most recent.
I have all my sequences, songs, samples etc EVERYTHING (entire mem.) saved in the AUTOLOAD folder. I've always done this and have never changed that or done anything different. Yesterday, for seemingly no reason at all, I tried saving entire mem to autoload, and nothing happened. The screen just brought me right back to 'save entire mem:autoload' instead of saving, and kept doing that every time i hit "do it". Also, I couldn't locate the autoload folder in 'LOAD', it would pop up and then disappear and then pop back up again, and i couldn't look through the folder.
So, I powered the 500 off, and when I turn it back on the Autoload does not load. It just powers on and no data is uploaded. I still can't find the autoload folder using 'load'. I know its there, because I can see it on my computer when i hook up the usb. I just can't load the autoload folder, where all my stuff is saved. Thankfully, I have a copy of the autoload folder backed up on my computer.
Any ideas of what the problem is? Or any solutions? I'm resigned to think my 500 is just busted at this point, so many problems. Thanks!!
