Yes. a quick update would have saved trouble , but as you know Rohan has not been able to do this. He isn't ripping you off or slacking. Something has went wrong.

Yes, but obviously he cant, for what ever reason, so it's up to buyers to act responsibly.
What are you going to do if he doesn't even comeback on line ? At this stage we know nothing about when he will so it's foolish to speculate about it.

People should do a chargeback before the 45 days is up.

Dude, paypal have no interest after 45 days. I was caught off guard, as I had to wait 2 weeks for the slow airmal shipping time, this coupled with Rohan sending me a message a week or so later stating that he had been delayed and was going to get on it right away,and then by the time I had waited another 2 weeks my 45 days was up

By this time I emailed again and had no response...

To say he can't get online to sort it out is a bit of an exageration I believe. He COULD but he hasn't. Sure it is certainly not on the top of his priority list, and there are things of much higer importance to be taken care of first, but it is still his responsiblitiy. We aren't talking a month man, we are talking 4 months.

What am I going to do if he doesn't come back... well I don't suppose theres much I can do being he's half way around the world... however his reputation goes to the dumps I suppose which wouldn't be favourable for him. I think I've been quite patient to be honest.

Same here, just trying to make the point that he may not be able to get to a computer.

I understand it sucks big time if you've spent money on the upgrade but we don't know the situation at the moment.

For what its worth, I've got Valixi installed and it'll be worth the wait once he's back.

What blows my mind is that no one knows anything and can at least help to clear his name a little bit...

Someone needs to block the shop on his site for him, if anyone on this site is close to him get his passwords and help him out - not going into details but I have experience of 'returning to normality' as I'm sure others on here do, and last thing he needs is people less polite than the people on this thread threatening him via email as delayed orders slowly creep into the hundreds, could be giving him grief for months and months, thats not going to help him in any way in the long run.

on the flip, its only natural to be upset if you spent sizable cash and put trust to have nothing delivered. People (inc myself) often push their finances to the edge in the name of their music, then have to live like tramps til the next payday - not that bad in the grand scheme of things, but enough to annoy people.

that aside I hope the guy is well! he's done so much for MPC users.

I'm a little reluctant to ask my friend to contact Rohan again seeing as he said he just needs some time before he comes back to the world. I will give it a couple of weeks and if there's no sign of him I will hit up my friend in OZ who has spoken to him. I realise someone could think I just made this up. Be assured that is not the case

I did go ahead and purchase the OS on the 16th...but still nothing....almost a month later.

No one minds people taking time out and shit, but seriously duke, theres a right and wrong way to do it. Dissapearing without a trace and no comms is not the best way.....
